Your visit in LEGOLAND®
We are looking forward to seeing you!
It should be a secure and safe experience for guests as well as employees to come to LEGOLAND. Therefore, we have adapted a number of measures to protect all of us in the best possible way against the corona infection.
Our guests will find informative signs at LEGOLAND, but we advise everybody to look for guidance in our FAQ below about what to do before and during a visit to LEGOLAND. The opening calendar has been updated, and the opening hours have also been changed in the coming time period. See the opening calendar here.Buy tickets now
Guidelines and general questions
We follow the guidelines from the Danish authorities and the specific recommendations for amusement parks.
First of all, we will ensure that it is possible to keep a proper distance from the other guests throughout the whole LEGOLAND® experience. We have also taken a number of measures with regard to cleaning and hygiene, and last but not least, we have trained our staff on how to handle the situation. You can read more about the specific measures under the various topics in this FAQ, which we will be updating regularly as we receive new guidelines from the authorities.
We ask our guests to follow the guidelines from the Danish Health Authority and show consideration by following some simple guidelines.
1) Do not visit LEGOLAND® if you are ill or if you have symptoms of coronavirus.
2) Cough or sneeze in your sleeve.
3) Follow the instructions of our staff, the signs and the distance markers in the park.
4) Use hand sanitizer before and after going on a ride or visiting the toilet.
The entrance to LEGOLAND® will be open well before the rides open to ensure that a crowd will not form in the square in front of LEGOLAND®. In general, we advise you to keep a distance - both in the parking lot, at the pedestrian crossing and in the area where you scan your ticket. There will be distance markers in the area where you scan your ticket or Season Pass to LEGOLAND®.
We have organized all the lines to ensure that it is possible to keep your distance from the other guests. It is very important that everyone stays behind their distance marker until the space behind the next distance marker is free. If there is no more room in the waiting area, we kindly ask you to try a different ride rather than forming a line outside the waiting area.
It is important that you show consideration for the other guests and keep a proper distance. We encourage our guests to walk in the right side of the pathways and avoid making stops in the middle of the pathways.
It should be possible to keep distance from the other guests in LEGOLAND, which is why we have set a capacity limit, which is about half the normal capacity. It should be safe for our guests and employees to visit LEGOLAND and we comply with the requirements of the authorities at allt times.
In general, we encourage our guests to make sure that they keep a proper distance from the other guests. In addition, we have put a restriction on the overall number of guests, and a number of staff will circulate around LEGOLAND® and keep a close eye on the areas where we know that our guests would usually gather in large groups under normal circumstances.
A number of staff will circulate around the park to ensure that our guests keep a proper distance from one another. Contact the nearest employee if you experience a situation in which other guests do not show consideration.

The following attractions are open on weekdays up to and including June 26th.:
Atlantis by SEA LIFE™
Pirate Wave Breaker
Vikings River Splash
All the waiting areas at the rides have been organised with increased distance between the rows, and in addition, distance markers are in place to clearly indicate the proper distance between guests waiting in line. In general, we recommend that you do not form a line if the waiting area is full and that you instead move on to another ride.
We provide information on the specific measures that have been taken at each ride. Some rides will be disinfected at the handles/knobs or the like after each ride, while other surfaces will be cleaned several times a day.
Once again it is possible to acquire the ’show consideration’ wristband at LEGOLAND®. It is important that you order your wristband in advance as we have a limited amount each day.
The opening of The LEGO® MOVIE™ World has been postponed to 2021, since it has not been possible for our foreign suppliers to complete the attractions. We do not know when it will be possible for them to travel to Denmark, and with the work remaining and the subsequent security clearance and the necessary training, it is not realistic that we will be able to open the area this year at the same time as all the new safety measures we will have to implement and adjust on a continuous basis
We know that you had looked as much forward to it as we did, and we very much regret that you will have to wait a bit longer for our new attraction. We promise you that it will all be finished for 2021, and we also promise you that it will be worth waiting for.
Cleaning and hygiene measures
We provide information on the specific measures that have been taken at each ride. Some rides will be disinfected at the handles/knobs or the like after each ride, while other surfaces will be cleaned several times a day. We ask our guests to sanitize their hands before entering the ride - if you suffer from allergies or skin irritation, you will be supplied with gloves at the ride.
Sanitizer dispensers are located at the entrance and exit of all open rides, toilets and points of sale.
All toilets are cleaned several times daily and when doing so, all surfaces, door handles and the like are also disinfected. We also encourage our guests to use a hand sanitizer both before and after visiting the toilet.
All of our employees have undergone training on coronavirus, and here they have also been carefully instructed to stay at home if they show symptoms of coronavirus.
