LEGOLAND® Park Regulations

To ensure you have the best experience at LEGOLAND® we have laid down a number of rules for your visit to the park, which we kindly ask you to follow. Unless otherwise stated, reference is made to the Danish Public Order Act. Violation of these park regulations may result in expulsion and, in serious cases, may be reported to the police.
We thank you for your understanding and hope you enjoy your visit to LEGOLAND

1. Access to LEGOLAND®

  • There is access to LEGOLAND® during the designated opening hours with a valid ticket or admission pass.
  • If you leave LEGOLAND® but wish to return later the same day, you can get a stamp on your hand at the exit.
  • At any time, LEGOLAND® may change its designated opening hours or close the park in response to situations that have arisen, including safety considerations.

2. General

  • LEGOLAND® is reserved for pedestrian guests. No bicycles, mopeds, roller skates, skateboards scooters, etc. are permitted in the park. Guests with physical impairments may bring wheelchairs or other necessary aids. Please refer to the Information Desk to obtain an approved sign.
  • Dogs are welcome in the park; however, with due consideration for children and other guests. Dogs must always be on a short leash and may not be left unattended. Dog breeds that are illegal according to Danish law may not be brought into LEGOLAND®.
  • No items may be collected from waste bins in LEGOLAND®.
  • It is not permitted to be visibly intoxicated in LEGOLAND® or to bother others by shouting, unacceptable behaviour or similar.
  • Exposed torsos are not permitted in the park. In addition, shoes must always be worn on the rides.
  • The discarding of paper and waste, general contamination and damage to buildings, decorations, fixtures, fittings or other items is not permitted.
  • Putting up posters or distributing brochures is not permitted.
  • Political or religious propaganda is not permitted.
  • Flowers or plants in the LEGOLAND® park’s gardens may not be picked.
  • Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is only permitted in the designated areas.
  • It is not permitted to fly any type of drones on or above the LEGOLAND® park’s premises.
  • Requests from LEGOLAND® park employees must always be complied with.

3. Rides

  • Guests using the LEGOLAND® attractions must comply with the rules posted at each ride and follow the instructions given by LEGOLAND® staff, including the following:
    • Age, height and health restrictions apply to certain rides – always read the guidelines for the individual attractions.
    • Entering and exiting the rides may ONLY take place once they have stopped and only in the area designated for this purpose.
    • Loose items must not be brought onto the rides.
    • Careless or reckless behaviour that could endanger yourself or others is not permitted.
    • Safety bars and other safety equipment must not be loosened or otherwise made inoperable.
    • The rides at LEGOLAND® may not be used by anyone under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.
    • Smoking or consuming food and drinks is not permitted on the rides.
    • LEGOLAND® park signs for queueing must always be respected.

4. Safety

  • Checks may be carried out on bags and other items at the park’s main entrance. In this connection, the park’s inspectors will be visible at the entrance.
  • Contents of bags and pockets must be presented upon request to the inspectors at LEGOLAND®.
  • The following may not be brought into LEGOLAND®:
    • All forms of illegal objects under Danish law, including weapons and objects that can be used as weapons, as well as objects that could potentially endanger the park’s visitors.
    • Illegal items will be confiscated and handed over to the police and the incident will be reported to the police.
    • All forms of fireworks.
    • All types of grill and barbecue equipment.
    • Rolling means of transport, including scooters, skateboards, roller skates, bicycles etc. (disability means of transport excepted).
    • Boomboxes and other music systems.
    • Drones and other remote controlled objects.
    • Sharp objects, including scissors above a certain size, screwdrivers etc.
  • The following are not allowed in LEGOLAND®:
    • Threatening or violent behaviour towards other guests or staff at LEGOLAND® is not permitted. This will be reported to the police and result in expulsion from the park.
    • Actual or attempted theft or vandalism are not permitted. This will be reported to the police and result in expulsion from the park.
    • Ignition and the use of fireworks or other pyrotechnics is not permitted.
    • Any use of euphoric substances is not permitted and will be reported to the police and result in expulsion.
  • LEGOLAND® is under video surveillance.
  • LEGOLAND® reserves the right at any time to refuse access to or expel individuals or groups who do not follow staff directions, rules and safety instructions, including individuals or groups who by their clothing or general behaviour create discomfort.

5. Concerts and performances

  • Checks may be carried out on bags and other items at the park’s main entrance. In this connection, the park’s inspectors will be visible at the entrance.
  • The use audio or video equipment during performances and concerts is not permitted.
  • Any cordoned-off areas must always be respected.
  • Show consideration for other guests and follow any instructions from security staff.

6. Food and drink

  • You may bring your own food and drink into LEGOLAND®. You may consume your own food and drink in any areas where nothing else is specified.
